Back in 1991 I never thought I would be knocking on the door at Halton Women's Place. My little girls and I were in desperate need of shelter.
I asked myself, how did this happen to someone like me? I'm married to a bad person.
Somehow I had fallen victim to an abusive husband. So abusive in fact that he was sent to jail with a lifetime restraining order. I never saw him again and neither did my children.
Through all of this turmoil I knew that I was held hostage by money. In fact I had always been held hostage by money. It started with being influenced by the scarcity mindset my parents had, to then marrying a man who not only controlled the finances but isolated me to the point where all the fun in my life was gone. My lifelines were cut off, I wasn't seeing family or friends. He took complete control.
I knew I needed to get back to myself. I knew she was still in there, the girl who loved coming up with new ideas, loved wheelin' and dealin' in business and loved her amazing friends.
I vowed to myself that I was going to bust out of this situation and teach other women that they don't have to live this way. I got my Charter and my Licensing and I built Sovereign Wealth Management. The business took off like a rocket.
27 years later From Wallet to Wealth was born. I make it my mission to give back to Halton Women's Place and empower women to take control of their money through this amazing community!
In 2019 we raised $15,000.
In 2020 we raised $32,000.
This years goal?
$50,000!!! I know we will get there.
I want women to win, I want them to ask for bigger paycheques, know their worth, have their own wealth and their own bank accounts.
This year I have collaborated with Monica Graves of glamjulz to bring you our "2021 From Wallet to Wealth Bracelet"
They are $45 + tax with all proceeds donated to Halton Women's Place.
Each one is handmade with Swarovski crystals and high quality glass beads.

Each bracelet is handmade by designer Monica Graves of glamjulz. The bracelets include Swarovski Crystals and high quality glass beads. All findings and the charm are hypo-allergenic and nickel free. Each one is adjustable to accommodate any wrist size.
