When I embarked on the adventure of starting a non for profit, I wanted to give back to Halton Womens Place— because they helped me at a time of crisis in my life where I found myself and my two kids (under the age of 10 at the time) at the local women’s shelter.

While I’ve raised my two daughters and build an incredible company over the last 25 years, it became important to me to build a greater legacy.
To give BACK and contribute to my city and community.
Some hardships define you. Some crack you open. Some are a catalyst into a deeper level of strength.
Why should you care about From Wallet To Wealth ?
November is Violence Against Women Prevention month. Abuse starts at home. It starts with toxic dynamics we witness in our own families. You never know if your neighbour, friend or family member is going through a tough time.
I don’t know what I would have done all those years ago without the support and guidance of Halton Women’s Place.
With Wallet To Wealth, we are not only raising awareness about the shelter, generational trauma, healing from abuse, but we also have 5 phenomenal speakers who will share how they found advantage in their adversity.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Whether you want to support the cause, hear the speakers bravely share their stories or be in community, our annual from Wallet to Wealth gala is November 10th this year.

From Wallet To Wealth is a brand, a community, a network.
We have 3 main missions:
Our annual gala raises money for Halton Women’s Place
We raise awareness on domestic abuse, generational trauma and toxic behaviours
We heal, grow, and expand together as women and as a community.
Something I didn’t have all those years ago was a support system. Luckily Halton Women's Place took me in, while I sought refuge from a dangerous situation with my 2 young children.
When women have network, wealth, resources, they can achieve anything!
It’s a wonderful thing to give to charities, but it’s even more inspiring to start healing ourselves for future generations.
That’s what we are doing with Wallet To Wealth. We are raising money for the women’s shelter, but we are also learning, growing and connecting together!!
