Kelly Child’s is one of our speakers at the November 14th Wallet To Wealth event during national Women’s Abuse Prevention month.
This past weekend, she had a pop up event in Picton, Prince Edward County. Whitney rallied up a crew of 8 planes to fly in and enjoy a day of family, friends, fun, and food!
LESSON 1: Women support Women and their businesses!
Kelly’s Bake Shoppe pop up was such a success that they ran out of cupcakes! It would have taken them over 7+ hours to drive back to Burlington round trip for Sunday’s event.
Whitney overheard the news and rose to the challenge and volunteered to fly in cupcakes to Picton.
LESSON 2: When we support each other, we can accomplish SO much more!
This is another reason why we created Wallet to Wealth - to show women how we can support, inspire and uplift each other.
When we are of service, with no expectations in return, we give from our hearts generously.
Part of the reason we are so excited to have Kelly as a speaker is because she truly embodies someone who has overcome her adversity, and turned it into her advantage.
At Wallet to Wealth, we believe that every woman needs a female she can confide in, one she can be mentored by, and one she can mentor.
LESSON 3: We can learn from each other.
Kelly is more than just cupcakes. Her message is about giving yourself permission to be yourself and choosing JOY no matter what.
